Rizzo Heating and Air Conditioning began in 1963, the proprietor was a man named Camille Rizzo. Camille owned a grocery store in Los Angeles and he was always intrigued by the service techs that came in to maintain and repair his refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. He soon began going on weekend rides with them and he found his trade. Within a short time, he attained his contractor’s license and began running the company from his home. Mike Rizzo, the current owner and son of Camille, began riding with his father on weekends to learn the trade. In 1973, when Mike graduated from High School, he dove in head first. He and his father made quite a name for themselves in the area, with a main focus on large commercial work. They did restaurants, churches, car dealers, and markets.

Only about 30 percent of their work was residential. They soon moved out to Rowland Heights, where there was plenty of advancement and growth in the area. Camille was an innovator; he went to where the work was. Soon after this, the economy brought them out to the Riverside/Woodcrest area, where their main focus was still on commercial but they threw in a little bit more of residential as well. When Camille retired in 1990, Mike took the business on the road one more time out to Menifee. When he made the move out here, he had decided to focus on residential. Now, Rizzo Heating and Air Conditioning does about 90 percent residential, change-outs, add-ons and cut-ins. As of 2003, Mike Rizzo Jr. came aboard with the company.
Rizzo Heating and Air Conditioning is also working with Southern California Edison. Being in the NATE Quality Circle means that at least 80% of the technicians in your company are certified, 100% of ours are. Both have tested and passed the NATE exams. So you are ensured to get the highest level of intelligence the industry has to offer.
