Whole House Fan Installation — Temecula Valley

Hot days, cool nights: whole house fan country.

When Menifee cools off after sunset, a whole house fan flushes the day's heat from the house and attic in minutes, for a fraction of what the AC costs to run. We size it to your attic venting and install it clean.

Cool nights and spring checklists

Night air in — the cheap half of valley comfort.

Two windows crack open at dusk, the attic exhausts the day's heat, and the AC stays off until tomorrow afternoon.

The valley bundle

Fan, attic, and a tune-up — the cheap comfort stack.

  • Attic look

Venting, framing, and whether insulation needs depth.

  • Fan sized

CFM matched to the house, not the biggest model.

  • Install day

Damper sealed, switch placed, living space left clean.

What a fan install includes

  • A fraction of the operating cost of running your AC
  • Cools the house and the attic
  • Quiet modern ducted and insulated-damper models
  • Sized to your attic's venting, then installed clean

Above the ceiling

Where the fan actually lives

The housing hangs off the framing on isolators so the noise stays up there, and insulated flex duct carries the air to the damper you see in the ceiling. Two windows open and the day's heat is out of the house.

  1. 1

    In-home estimate

The $75 visit is credited toward the install. We verify attic venting can handle the fan and put the job in writing before work starts.

  2. 2

    Install

Ceiling cut, mount, and a dedicated switch or remote — you'll know before the saw comes out whether your attic makes it a half-day or full-day job.

  3. 3

    The evening test

First cool evening, open two windows, flip it on, feel the whole house exhale.

Whole-house fan questions

Still have a question?

Call (951) 672-0397
How loud are modern whole house fans?

Ducted and insulated-damper models run at conversation-friendly levels on low. Far quieter than old direct-mount fans.

Can you run a whole house fan and AC at the same time?

No. The AC seals the house to cool it; the fan pulls outside air through and exhausts it via the attic. Run one or the other, never both.

Do I need attic insulation with a whole house fan?

Not required, but thin attic insulation lets heat soak back into the house overnight after the fan has cooled it. If yours runs thin, we'll flag it at the same visit.
