AC Installation & Replacement in the Temecula Valley

A 15-year decision, made with a 60-year family.

Most of our installations come from referrals — neighbors who watched us do it right next door. As an American Standard Customer Care Dealer we install equipment matched to your home's load, not the biggest ticket we can write. Every install is permitted and inspected — that's California law, and the paperwork is ours to handle, not yours.

When the valley hits 105°

We aim to get there today — and most times we do.

In peak summer a broken AC isn't an inconvenience, it's an emergency. Our trucks carry the most common parts, so the failures that strand people — capacitors, contactors, condensate clogs — usually get fixed on the first visit.

What a new system really costs here

Tonnage, SEER2 rating, and duct condition all move the number — which is exactly why we won't quote one over the phone. A quote that skips the permit or the load calculation isn't really comparable to one that includes both, whatever the sticker says. Financing with approved credit turns the real number into a monthly payment; we'll show you actual terms at the estimate, not a teaser rate.

How financing works

Dispatch path

How it goes

  1. 1

    In-home estimate

The $75 visit is credited toward your new system. We measure, run the load calculation, and look at your ducts — sizing from the driveway is how hot bedrooms happen.

  2. 2

Good / better / best quote

Three written options with real equipment names and SEER2 numbers. Financing math included if you want it.

  3. 3

    Install day

Standard changeouts finish in a day. Permit pulled, HERS testing scheduled, old equipment hauled off.

  4. 4

    Inspection

City inspection passed and warranty registered.

Questions we hear a lot

How long does installation take?

A standard changeout is one day, start to finish — we test the running system before we leave. Full replacements with duct modifications or electrical upgrades can run two days. We tell you which one applies to your home at the estimate, not on install day.

Do I need permits?

Yes — California requires permits and HERS testing for changeouts. We pull them on every job — 131 permitted projects are on the public record.

How old should my AC be before replacing instead of repairing?

There's no single age that flips the switch, but the math trends the same way for every system: the older it is, the more a big repair bill argues for replacing instead. Systems past 12–15 years also lose real efficiency even when they're still running — we'll walk through your system's actual numbers rather than a shortcut.

What SEER rating do I need for Southern California heat?

The 2023 federal DOE standards set the efficiency floor for new AC installs in our region at 14.3 SEER2 — we won't quote below that. For the Temecula Valley's 100°+ summer days, a higher SEER2 rating means real, ongoing savings on the summer power bill; we'll run the actual payback math for your specific system and usage at the estimate, not a generic timeline.
