HVAC Maintenance in the Temecula Valley

The repair you never get is the one maintenance caught in April.

A professional maintenance visit isn't a filter swap and a handshake. It's a full check of the system your family depends on before it's asked to run flat-out in a 105° week — catching the small failures while they're still small, helping keep the manufacturer warranty intact, and keeping the efficiency you paid for. It's the least glamorous and most valuable thing we do.

The valley play

Cool nights are free cooling — if the house is set up to use them.

The valley runs 105° days and 65° nights. A whole-house fan flushes the day's heat after sunset, attic insulation keeps it out, and sealed ducts stop paying to cool the attic. Each one multiplies the others — we start at the cheap end and only move up if the cheap fix doesn't solve it.

What you get with Rizzo

  • Full system check — refrigerant charge, electrical connections, safety controls, and airflow, not just a filter
  • Catches worn capacitors, weak contactors, and refrigerant loss before they strand you in peak season
  • Supports your manufacturer warranty — many require or recommend documented service, so check your warranty terms
  • Restores the efficiency a dirty coil and a loose connection quietly bleed away

Fast Honest Service

One visit or a membership?

A single $69.95 tune-up makes sense the year you buy it; a plan makes sense if you'd rather not remember to book it. The inspection is the same either way — a system that's checked before it's stressed, and small failures caught cheap. We're finalizing the tiers and pricing for The Rizzo Family Plan; call (951) 672-0397 to get on the waitlist. A one-off $69.95 tune-up covers the same inspection without any membership.

Whole-house path

How it goes

  1. 1

    Full inspection

We check refrigerant charge, tighten and test electrical connections, verify safety controls, clean the coils, and measure airflow — the parts that fail unannounced in July.

  2. 2

    Straight readout

You get the honest state of the system: what's healthy, what's wearing, and what's worth watching. A worn capacitor caught now is a scheduled fix, not a 105° emergency.

  3. 3

    Your call

If something needs attention we quote it in writing, up front. Nothing gets fixed on the spot without your say-so.

Questions we hear a lot

How often should HVAC be serviced?

Twice a year is the standard: the cooling side checked in spring before summer, the heating side in fall before winter. In the Temecula Valley the AC does the heavy lifting, so the spring visit matters most — but a fall heating check is what keeps a furnace safe, not just working. See our tune-ups page for the seasonal schedule.

Does HVAC maintenance really preserve my warranty?

It can — many manufacturers require or recommend documented maintenance to keep parts coverage intact, so check your warranty terms. Skipping documented service can turn a covered compressor failure into an out-of-pocket one. A tune-up is a fraction of that risk, and we log the service so the record is there if you ever need to make a claim.

What's the difference between a maintenance plan and a single tune-up?

A single $69.95 tune-up is one seasonal inspection you book when you want it. We're finalizing The Rizzo Family Plan, which will bundle the seasonal visits — the actual work on the system is the same; a plan just handles the remembering. Tiers and pricing aren't set yet, so call (951) 672-0397 to get on the waitlist.
