What an AC repair really costs
The most common failures — capacitors, contactors, condensate clogs — are parts-cheap and labor-light. A failing blower motor or a refrigerant leak costs more, and we'll show you the part and the price before touching it. The general shape of the decision: the older the system and the higher the repair estimate, the more replacement deserves a real look — not a guess, a side-by-side comparison. We'll give you both real numbers, repair and replace, before you decide.

Questions we hear a lot
Why is my AC running but not cooling?
Usually a failed capacitor, low refrigerant from a leak, a clogged condensate line, or a failing blower motor. All are diagnosable in one visit — and none automatically mean you need a new system.
How fast can you get here in a heat wave?
Our hours are Mon–Fri 7am–7pm and Sat 7am–3pm. In peak summer we aim for same-day response, and most times we make it — call and we'll tell you honestly how fast we can get to you and what the visit will cost, before a truck rolls.
Why is my AC unit frozen and how do I fix it?
Usually restricted airflow (a dirty filter or closed vents) or low refrigerant from a leak. Switch the system to fan-only so it can thaw — running it frozen can damage the compressor. We diagnose the actual cause on-site rather than just clearing the ice and calling it fixed.
Why does my AC keep tripping the breaker?
Usually a failing capacitor, a seized compressor drawing too many amps, or a wiring fault — each carries a different repair cost. Don't keep resetting the breaker; repeated trips can damage the compressor further. We isolate the actual cause on the first visit, in writing, before any repair starts.
